About This Role
Florida is our home state and our proving ground. South Florida is one of our most important markets and you will build Lorea's wholesale business from the ground up across the region, open distribution across independent retailers and regional accounts as well as execute the retail playbook that defines how Lorea wins. As Florida builds and scales, your territory will be the engine that proves what's possible.
Territory
- •Southern Florida, including but not limited to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Naples, Fort Myers and the Florida Keys
Prospecting & New Account Acquisition
- •Daily in-person visits, cold calls, and email outreach across South Florida
- •Identify and engage decision makers (owners, buyers, managers)
- •Build and maintain targeted lead lists
- •Open 12+ new accounts per month
Closing & First Orders
- •Present Lorea's value proposition and full product line
- •Negotiate placement, pricing, and initial order size
- •Secure signed first orders and coordinate fulfillment with distributor
- •Execute sample drops with sell sheets to support the sales process
Account Management & Reorders
- •Build strong relationships with opened accounts
- •Conduct regular check-ins alongside support rep to drive reorders and expand product mix
- •Upsell additional SKUs and increase order volume
- •Target 60% reorder rate within 45 days
Territory Planning
- •Develop and execute a strategic territory plan for South Florida
- •Optimize daily routes to maximize face-to-face selling time
- •Map account density to identify expansion opportunities
CRM & Reporting
- •Log all activity in Pipedrive within 24 hours
- •Prepare weekly reports on pipeline, new accounts, and revenue
- •Maintain accurate quarterly forecasts
Distributor Collaboration
- •Work alongside distributor reps for joint account calls
- •Coordinate on fulfillment, delivery timelines, and product availability
Merchandising
- •Ensure Lorea products are properly placed, visible, and maintained to brand standards
- •Set up and maintain POS materials (shelf talkers, table tents, displays)
- •Monitor product freshness and rotation
- •Document merchandising conditions with photos during every account visit
What We're Looking For
- •3–5+ years of field sales experience in beverage, CPG or a related consumer category
- •Proven track record of opening new accounts and hitting aggressive monthly quotas
- •Deep South Florida market knowledge: independent retailers, bars, restaurants, specialty accounts and the local distributor landscape
- •Existing relationships with South Florida buyers and operators is a strong plus
- •Comfortable with daily in-person selling, cold calls and sample drops
- •Strong closing skills and confidence presenting to owners, buyers and decision makers
- •Disciplined with CRM hygiene and weekly reporting
- •Self-directed and organized, able to build and execute a territory plan independently
- •Experience in hemp-derived beverages, cannabis, functional beverage, alcohol or adjacent regulated categories is a strong plus
- •Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- •Must live in the South Florida territory
- •Must have a reliable car, valid driver's license, registration and proof of insurance
